3 x 120 fans won't cool your case much better than 2 x 140 fans. The difference will be maybe be 1 or 2 degrees max. The noise reduction easily Comes to personal preference as that if you wan't a higher effective cooling I would suggest you using 3 fan if you are looking for a sleeper pc I would suggest using the 2 140mm fan as that it is much more quiet but not as effective the 3 fan 120mm option so it would end up to your choice of your pc build as everyone has a different preference on there PC style so go nuts and choose your way. 3 x 120mm fans will provide slightly more airflow overall, but 2 x 140mm fans will be quieter, as larger fans don't need to spin as fast to provide the same level of airflow. i went with 2 140mm over 3 120 because the 3rd 120 would sit under the psu shroud not really doing anything (it cools the hdd cage i guess). i think that support was mainly for aio cooling.
